Course summary

Embark on an exhilarating journey into the heart of motorsport engineering with our comprehensive programme. Designed to fuel your passion for high-speed innovation, our curriculum merges cutting-edge theory with hands-on experience, preparing you for the fast-paced world of motorsport engineering. In addition to studying the qualification, learners have taken part in a number of trips, visits and guest lectures, and had the opportunity to get involved with our race team.

Teaching & Assessment

You will have weekly lectures with your module leader. These could be in the classroom, workshop or lab depending on the module. Assessment is primarily via coursework. The coursework may include practical workshop activities, lab work, project work, presentation or report writing.

Progression Opportunities

On successful completion, you will be qualified to enter employment within the motorsport industry.

Qualification requirements

Typically entrant will possess:
• A full Level 3 qualification in Engineering or Motorsport, including an element of Maths, or A Levels in relevant subjects
• GCSEs including English at grade 4 or above and maths at grade 5 or above.
