Course summary
A Pearson BTEC Level 5 Qualification for Engineering Technicians. This conversion course covers Mechanical and General Engineering - and delivers the extra modules needed, in addition to those already acquired at HNC (Level 4), to provide the full complement of 16 required by Pearson for a Level 5 HND qualification.
The Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Engineering offers students pathways designed to support progression into relevant occupational areas or onto degree level study. These pathways are linked to Professional Body standards (where appropriate) and can provide progression towards professional status or entry to the later stages of an appropriate degree.

Qualification requirements
Successful completion of a full BTEC HNC (Level 4) Engineering Program with appropriate grades including at least three merit grades, one of which should be mathematics.
Relevant training or work experience.
