Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the creative industries and spearheading society’s technological revolution, totally redefining the role of the digital creator. If you’re keen to get to grips with generative AI and explore computing specifically through a creative lens, SAE’s Bachelor of Creative Computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) degree will help you make vibrant creative collateral using technology and AI as part of your production tool kit.
Designed for ambitious creatives from all backgrounds, this inclusive creative technology course provides a practical route into one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors, whether you’re just starting higher education studies or looking for a mid-career change.
As you discover the sweet spot where technology meets creativity, you’ll cover transformative topics like generative artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), extended reality (XR), projection mapping and application development, while building technology-enabled interactive experiences. Having AI embedded across the full length of the degree makes this course truly unique – with many UK creative technology degrees offering only a small selection of AI-focused modules.
Using AI in a computing environment instantly opens up your creative options, giving you access to a whole plethora of talents and skills you might not naturally possess. Exploring visual, text, video and interactive media, you’ll build a stunning multimedia portfolio of creative artefacts across the immersive media space. During your time with us, you’ll become proficient at using the latest creative AI tools and software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro), ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Ollama, LM Studio, Resolume and Apple Vision Pro with Xcode and Swift. On top of this, you’ll regularly trial a host of additional AI tools and software as they evolve at rapid speed, including them in your workflows so you’re consistently at the vanguard of this exciting new field.
At SAE, we encourage you to tailor your learning to your interests and passions, empowering you to explore an exceptionally broad range of creative outputs – everything from music videos, iPhone animation and apps, to virtual avatars, 3D character printing and streaming projects on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok.
