Course summary

Get the skills you need to manage a software project and to monitor its progress and outcomes with a Master’s in Management of Business Information Technology.

This course welcomes applicants with a good first degree in any discipline, and it is particularly suited to those with a degree in business or with business experience. You'll gain an understanding of the information technologies used in e-commerce and how they provide us with new ways of organising and managing business. You study a combination of subjects, from technical elements such as systems design and user experience to managerial elements such as project management, IT auditing, and governance.

By the end of this business information technology course, you'll be able to develop a system based on requirements, considering graphic user interface and database implementation. You'll also have the project management skills required for IT consultancy and strategic decision-making.

This course is accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT for the purposes of partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional.
