Course summary
Adventure into ancient stories and ideas. At Birmingham, you'll dive into the literature of the ancient world and study human thought across history.
Engage critically with some of the deepest questions human beings have asked about life, knowledge, and the world throughout history and the modern day. Diving into ancient Greek, Egyptian and Roman culture, you'll draw together literature, drama, and art to explore how legacies of classical antiquity live on in our world today.
