Course summary

Successful graduation from our foundation programme paves the way to a our undergraduate Finance BSc (Hons) programme.

As well as developing your subject-specific knowledge it will build on your key skills, such as team-working and leadership to start you on your path towards your future career. You will study a series of core modules which will prepare you for directly entry onto an undergraduate study.

During your foundation year, you’ll have excellent support from your tutors and lecturers. We also have a dedicated Learning Services team who can provide additional support, in addition to a peer-assisted learning scheme. Group projects will give you the chance to meet new people, make new friends and build a network of people who will share your university journey.

The tuition fee for the Foundation Year commencing in the academic year 2026/7 is expected to be £5760, subject to parliamentary approval.

Following successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will pay the full time undergraduate annual tuition fee, which for the 2027/8 academic year is expected to be £10,050, subject to parliamentary approval.
