This is one of several subject combinations available in our Diploma of Higher Education in Computing & IT and a second subject (W42). This diploma develops your computing skills alongside core business knowledge, including strategy, decision-making, and organisational processes. You’ll explore how technology supports business operations and problem-solving, while building technical competence in programming, systems, and data management. By the end of the diploma, you’ll be prepared to take on entry-level roles in IT support, business analysis, or digital operations, or to progress to the BSc (Honours) to specialise further.

This computing and IT diploma has two stages, each comprising 120 credits.
Stage 1: You’ll study two 30-credit fundamental computing & IT modules and one 60-credit business module that introduces the building blocks of business and management.
Stage 2: You’ll choose one of four computing and IT focus areas from communications and networking, computer science, software development and web development, and study a 60-credit business module developing your understanding of innovative and entrepreneurial practice.
