Our highly-regarded Pharmacy course begins with a broad overview of the fundamental pharmaceutical and biological sciences. You will develop more specialised knowledge and skills in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, therapeutics, clinical management and patient-focused clinical skills.
The course lasts four years and you will graduate as a Master of Pharmacy. The MPharm is the only undergraduate qualification in the UK which leads to professional registration as a pharmacist which is a key worker profession.

The following entry points are available for this course:
Must include Chemistry and one other science subject at Grade B or above.
Must include a minimum of 4 Chemistry Units at Distinction.
Optional units must include:
Unit 13 – Applications of Inorganic Chemistry
Unit 14 – Applications of Organic Chemistry
Unit 19 – Practical Chemical Analysis
All of which must be a minimum of Distinction.
Access to HE Diploma, pass with 45 credits at level 3.
30 Distinctions overall with 15 in Chemistry, and 15 in another science subject.
We require GCSE English Language at grade C/4 or above, together with GCSE Mathematics grade B/6 or above.
Within science, together with a grade B minimum for the Core component plus a minimum of a Merit for the specialism.
