Course summary

Build the bigger picture in business. You’ll enhance your engineering knowledge and use it to understand and solve the challenges your customers face.

This course will help you fulfil your potential as an aspiring manager.

As part of this course, you’ll:

  • Develop a broad knowledge of both general and discipline specific engineering issues

  • Inform your management practice with expert knowledge, particularly in accounting and cost control

  • Enhance your understanding of maintenance and monitoring management

  • Blend your flair for creativity and technology with the ability to organise and plan to develop an in-demand skillset

  • Understand the software and controls behind the electronics of automation

  • Build your skills in discreet event simulation, 3D modelling, analysis of configurations, robotic simulation, and in producing efficient components

Access to industry standard facilities
You’ll be given a full three-month licence to the Flex Sim package to work on discreet event simulation. You’ll also have access to our on-site rapid prototyper for 3D print designs.
