Building Surveyors manage the evolving Built Environment and their role is crucial as urban space demands increase. This course teaches you about building control, conservation, defects, planning, and construction, which is key knowledge in this sector and develops the skills needed to assess, manage and maintain buildings throughout their lifecycle. You’ll explore building surveying alongside construction management and related built environment disciplines, gaining insight into how professionals work together to deliver safe, sustainable and functional buildings. Through tutorials, seminars, workshops and collaborative projects, you’ll build practical skills in problem-solving, communication and decision-making, preparing you for progression onto your degree and a confident career in building surveying.
