Our BA (Hons) Fashion course has an excellent reputation for producing graduates recognised for their creativity, originality, versatility, and professional skills.
You’ll explore future-facing, contemporary fashion design in a hands-on, creative studio environment. Taking an individual approach to fashion design, you’ll develop ideas through original research, material experimentation, and practical making, learning by doing and refining your personal design practice.
Throughout the course, you’ll gain essential skills in fashion design and construction, with the opportunity to develop a textiles specialism such as knit, print, or embroidery. Critical and contextual studies will deepen your understanding of the global fashion industry, contemporary issues, and cultural diversity.
You’ll be encouraged to develop your own design philosophy that will shape your final collection and professional portfolio in your final year, underpinned by a commitment to sustainable practice.
