Studying online and part-time allows you to develop your technical skills while keeping up with your work and family commitments. You will explore key topics such as:

fundamental theories and principles of computing and key trends in the field
how to contextualise and develop information systems using object-oriented approaches in languages such as Python and SQL
computer networks, network security fundamentals and information security governance principles
Throughout the course you will develop a number of programs and applications, and the technical skills you will gain will be an asset in whichever area of computer science you go on to work in. At the end of your course, there will be the opportunity to progress onto a PG Dip or the full Masters.
