This programme is designed around the needs of experienced nurses practitioners looking to further develop practice and/or prepare for clinical practice roles at a senior level and is suitable if you are one of the growing number of UK registered practitioners working in (or towards) a role such as Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Consultant Nurse - or any similar role that at the interface between nursing and medicine.
You'll strengthen your existing knowledge, skills and competencies while also preparing for roles that require greater autonomy, responsibility and more complex clinical decision-making. You'll graduate primed to take the next step in your career.
This pathway is accredited by Health Education England's Centre for Advancing Practice. Completion of HEE accredited programmes/pathways is set to become one of the benchmark routes to recognition for Advanced Clinical Practitioners. Accreditation is also designed to ensure a consistent level of programme quality across England.
Graduates gain recognised credentials that enhance employability and support progression through NHS bands into senior clinical and leadership roles across the NHS and partner organisations.
