Teacher Training: Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (Post Compulsory Education)

This course, validated by Leeds Trinity University, helps you develop the required skills, knowledge and professional values to be a highly effective teacher. You will have the option to work in Further Education colleges, Sixth Form colleges, adult and community learning, independent training providers and prison education. With a significant proportion of your time spent on placement, you’ll gain the real-world experience that you need to prepare you for a fulfilling career in education. The programme requires 120 credits and includes a minimum of ten teaching observations to prepare you for a fulfilling career in education.
