Are you passionate about health, fitness, and performance? Our Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Sport, Exercise & Health Sciences provides the scientific knowledge, practical skills, and industry insight you need to succeed in the fast-growing health and fitness sector.

This two-year programme blends classroom learning with real-world experience, ensuring you graduate with both theoretical understanding and hands-on expertise. You’ll study key areas such as biomechanics, physiology, psychology, and health promotion, while developing professional skills through work-based learning and industry-focused projects.

As part of the course, you’ll complete a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, giving you the opportunity to gain paid work in gyms and fitness centres while you study. You’ll also receive ongoing support for additional CPD opportunities, helping you build a strong portfolio of qualifications and experience before graduation.
