Course summary

If you’re currently working in a school or educational setting, this two year course allows you to work full time. The course is designed to be delivered outside of standard working hours, whilst studying one evening a week and one Saturday a month. The course aims to develop your confidence to become an adaptable, creative, inspiring and reflective practitioner. You will also develop your study, critical and research skills to prepare you to study at a higher level. The Foundation Degree will allow you to progress your career within an educational setting. The course is delivered within the Margaret McMillan School of Education, in the heart of a thriving Further Education College and our team provide a supportive learning and teaching environment. Throughout the course, you will be supported so that you can progress int your professional role and/or further post-graduate study.
