Study our children’s nursing degree for a rewarding career helping to care for children, young people and their families.
This degree in children's nursing prepares you for the role and responsibilities of a registered children's nurse. You'll be working in the NHS serving young people and their families in south-east London and Kent.
We provide you with the skills to meet the needs of young people and their families in acute hospital trusts, community settings, and their home environments. You'll learn accountability for your role in their lives and more about the personal, social and cultural influences that affect young people's physical health and mental wellbeing.
We prepare you to apply for registration as a children's nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Our degree will help you achieve the outcomes from the NMC Standards Framework for Pre-registration Nursing Programmes (2019).
All nursing students on courses from September 2020 will benefit from guaranteed, additional support of at least £5,000 a year, which they will not need to pay back. See more information.
