Course summary

On our BA (Hons) Interior Design degree course at UCA Canterbury, we’ll expect you to ask questions and think about how we use spaces, and how we can better understand people’s needs in the spaces they use.

Fundamentally, you’ll be concerned with investigating how we feel about the spaces we inhabit, and prioritising human comfort. You’ll also develop your contextual awareness and your ability to create socially and culturally sensitive design responses.

Your work will also be client-driven - so you'll learn how to meet the needs and desires of any given client, preparing you for your career ahead. You’ll be taught by an academic and technical team with a range of industry experience, spanning everything from high-end retail to commercial space.
