This comprehensive foundation degree covers all aspects of equine management, giving you the skills to run your own business or study further.
The foundation degree in equine training and management is a vocational course, enabling you to learn about the equine industry through a mix of classroom-based learning and practical sessions. You'll gain the necessary management skills for careers with horses, with course modules covering topics such as equine anatomy and physiology, equine welfare and husbandry, and organisation and event planning.
By the end of the course, you'll be suitably prepared to work in the competition horse industry. Alternatively, you may wish to progress to BSc Hons Equine Training and Management.
The course is offered by one of the university's partner colleges: Hadlow College in Kent.
