If a candidate is not sitting any of the core sciences at A Level, we will also consider other relevant subjects, such Psychology A-level. In these cases, applicants would need strong performance in a core science at GCSE level (7 or above) .
For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A Levels, we require a pass in the practical element.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
DDDBTEC Applied Science preferred. Applicants are considered on an individual basis, but BTEC modules studied must include at least 180 GLH in Physiology/Anatomy.
The University positively welcomes the Extended Project Qualification and this will be taken into account in offers.
