75% Economics provides students with a strong grounding in the theoretical foundations of economics and their relevance for understanding economic behaviour and policy.
Students develop knowledge of key economic concepts and frameworks, alongside familiarity with analytical and quantitative tools used to examine real-world economic issues. Through the study of microeconomic and macroeconomic perspectives, students explore how economists analyse markets, institutions, and economic outcomes.
The programme also introduces students to important theoretical developments in the discipline, enabling them to appreciate advances in economic thought and their application to contemporary economic challenges in both national and global contexts.
