London
The LLB Law and Commercial Law will give you the skills necessary to tackle the complex world of business and financial law, including commercial awareness, and knowledge of banking law and of broader economic and private law issues.
This law and commercial law degree is ideal if you are embarking on a career in corporate law or law in the private sector. Commercial law skills are also highly transferable to legal work for careers in government, the public sector and most other industry contexts.
During your studies on this degree, you will learn the areas of legal knowledge relevant for pursuing a career in legal practice as well as taking an introductory course on commercial law. You will then be able to choose from specialist areas of commercial law and related fields where you will be taught by field-leading scholars in areas such as:
intellectual property law
banking law
white-collar crime.
You will also be encouraged to apply for work experience in one of our partner firms to get a head start on gaining insight into legal practice.
Lectures, seminars and classes take place in the evening. Some daytime and online teaching is available, depending on the modules you choose.
