Artificial Intelligence (AI) is everywhere. The recent growth in generative AI tools has been labelled by some as the fourth industrial revolution. AI is now a fundamental technology that is transforming our everyday lives. Opportunities for professionals with in-depth AI skills and knowledge are truly vast. Organisations in just about every sector are hiring AI graduates, so you’ll be able to tailor your career to your passions.

Our foundation degree is designed for students who have the capability to pursue a degree at Huddersfield but do not yet have the required qualifications. The foundation element lasts one year to bring you up-to-speed. If you pass, you’ll progress onto our BCS-accredited BSc(Hons) degree. Once on the full course you’ll enjoy the same benefits as our other students. These include a Common First Year, allowing you to experience all aspects of Computing before specialising in your chosen field.
