This wide-ranging degree equips you with a deep understanding across a variety of computer science topics. You can explore all of our computing specialisms in your first two years and see where your interests lie. You then continue with a broad spectrum of topics from across our full range, and will graduate with breadth and depth of knowledge.

The following entry points are available for this course:
Excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking. GCSE Mathematics grade B or 6 required.
Minimum grade B or 6 in at least five GCSEs required, including Mathematics.
A level 3 unit in mathematical studies essential. At least 45 level 3 credits at distinction in a science subject.
Mathematics required at National 5, minimum grade B (or grade 2 Standard Grade or Intermediate 2 equivalent) if not offered at Higher Grade. Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted. Where a candidate bypasses the assessment for National 5 qualifications, a minimum of grade C in the Higher in Mathematics is required.
Scottish qualifications can be taken in more than one sitting.
Standard Level Mathematics or Mathematical Studies required at grade 5 if not offered at Higher Level.
We welcome applications from students offering an Extended Project and value the skills of research and independent learning that it is designed to develop. If you offer an Extended Project, it will be taken into account as part of your application profile, but we will not usually include it in offer conditions for this degree programme.
Including Ordinary Level Mathematics required at grade O2 if not offered at Higher Level.
