Course summary

In December 2024, the University of Bolton was granted permission by the Office for Students (OfS) to change its name to the University of Greater Manchester with immediate effect. While we work to update our systems, you may see both names used in the information we provide.

This programme is going through the process of accreditation/reaccreditation with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM).

This multidisciplinary MSc in Biomedical Engineering aims to meet the industry’s need for professional engineers with the postgraduate knowledge and skills required to develop engineering solutions for medicine and biology.
