Course summary

The 3D Animation and Visual Effects degree combines two award winning degrees to teach photorealistic and stylised animation and 3D computer graphics, enabling students to graduate with the skills required to move between careers in the Visual Effects, Animation and Visualisation industries, going from films, commercials and television programmes to children’s cartoons to medical and architecture visualisation and more. Students will be taught all aspects of 3D and Visual Effects including animation, modelling, lookdev, lighting, rendering, compositing, rigging, simulation as well as traditional art and design skills for creating concepts, designs and storyboards.
