Course summary

Build the skills needed to navigate and thrive across diverse business organisations and corporate functions, creating the opportunities for real-world success. You will receive an excellent grounding in all aspects of business management, incorporating knowledge from areas such as accounting, economics, finance, human resource management, marketing, and sustainability.

Employability is at the heart of our Business Management course. You will work on integrated case studies, which will give you the opportunity to hear from and gain insight into global brands such as Apple and Amazon. You will step away from the confines of your textbooks and apply your theoretical knowledge to practical business simulations.

Previous graduates from this degree have gone on to successful careers in world-renowned organisations, including Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Caterpillar, HP and The Body Shop.

We work with our advisory board, which is made up of industry professionals, to make sure we are designing our courses with the latest skills and knowledge valued by employers.

You will receive an excellent grounding in all aspects of business management, incorporating knowledge from a range of disciplines such as accounting, economics, finance, human resource management, marketing, and sustainability. As well as studying growing disciplines such as artificial intelligence and ethical and responsible leadership.

Assessment method

You will be taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops, group work and self-directed study, all using our unique block teaching approach. On campus teaching will take place over two days per week, allowing students to plan their week and workloads. You will also undertake independent study to complete project work and research.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
