How you will learn

Through specialist modules, employer-led projects, case studies and simulations, you will assess the potential of business opportunities and solve problems to create better products and services. In your final year, you will undertake one of the most important parts of the course: the Business Consultancy Project. After learning the project management and research skills that are essential to any business professional, you will then apply these to solve a real problem for a business. This is a fantastic opportunity to put to use all your newly-acquired knowledge and skills and prove what you can do. Not only will you gain valuable experience, but you will also become much more confident in your abilities.

Opportunities and experiences

You could spend a year on placement or undertake summer internships. You will also have the opportunity to gain professional advice from an external CMI mentor and can draw inspiration from our wide-ranging business contacts, including our thriving Network of Entrepreneurs.

Work placements and internships
We'll encourage and support you to take work placements and internships. In between your second and third year, you can take an optional placement year or a summer internship. This is a valuable opportunity to gain experience and develop your practical skills, network and build your professional profile.
