Course summary

The course will cover a broad range of business aspects and functions including marketing, finance and project management. You will gain a wide range of business knowledge tied to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios. You will be involved in vocational activities that will help you to develop vocational behaviours (the attitudes and approaches required for a competence) and transferable skills.
Transferable skills are those such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are highly valued in higher education and the workplace.

Modules

Year 1 , level 4 is designed to reflect Operational Management level , where students are able to perform key business functions and tasks , understand processes and operations and work as effective skilled operatives.
year 1 lays the foundations of learning by providing a broad introduction to business and different business functions . This develops and strengthens core skills while preparing the the student to study at level 5, or to enter employment and management with the knowledge , skills and behaviours necessary for job roles that require some personal responsibility.

Assessment method

Centre-developed internal assignments that are set and assessed by Moulton College
Pearson (Awarding body) set assignments, which are set by Moulton College in line with our guidelines and graded by the College.
Assignments may include: Written reports, formal presentations, academic posters or practical assignments.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

Related level 3 qualification in Business management will be considered .
mature students working in the industry with GCSE grades ( including English and Maths) will be considered.
International qualifications equivalent to qualifications stated will be considered

Full-time Fees
The College will charge a fee of £9,000 per annum for undergraduate students, £6000 per annum for HND/HNC students, ( £3600 -part-time) £9,000 for BSc Construction Top- Up students.
£9,000 for BSc (Hons) Animal Behavioural Science & Welfare( Top-up) Students, £9,000 for BSc (Hons) Equine performance and Therapies Top-Up Students, £9,000 for BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy Top-Up students and £9,000 for BSc (Hons) Sports Performance and Coaching Top-up students
Students who started their courses in previous academic years will continue to pay the same fee as when they started.
Part time Students will pay £1500 per 20 credits
