PGCE Secondary – Modern Languages with ODA (QTS)
Bring Languages to life for pupils by following our Secondary PGCE Modern Languages with ODA programme. A combination of lectures, seminars and practical experience will provide you with a detailed understanding of how pupils learn and equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to develop as a creative and innovative teacher of International Languages.
Here at Bangor, we will ensure that you have the qualities needed to not only be an outstanding Modern Languages teacher, but also a teacher of Languages, Literacy and Communication, by giving you the opportunity to explore other aspects of the Languages Curriculum, so that you are fully prepared to meet the needs of the new Curriculum for Wales. French and German are the main languages currently taught in secondary schools in North Wales, and some schools offer some Spanish.
Bangor is a fantastic place for anyone interested in outdoor activities. Our location, combined with our long-established links with local outdoor education providers, provides a fantastic opportunity for combining this subject with outdoor activities during your training.
