Course summary

Study Mathematics at Aston University and develop the analytical and problem-solving skills needed for careers in data, finance and technology. This course combines applied, project-based learning with industry-informed teaching.

  • Strong foundation in mathematics, modelling and data analysis

  • Applied learning using programming and real-world problem solving

  • Optional placement year providing industry experience

  • Development of Aston Power Skills alongside technical expertise

Students have completed placements with organisations including Deloitte and BNP Paribas.

BBB including grade B in Maths: If the student is also presenting Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) grade B.
