Do you see yourself as an artist, or love the idea of creating the visual elements of a game?

From props to environments and characters to vehicles, computer game artists create intricate pieces of art through visual storytelling and cohesive design. You’ll engage and immerse players in another world, in both 2D and 3D. Our Games Development (Art) course is designed to help open doors for you to shape the life you want. Active links with industry professionals and staff engaged in research ensure you’ll be learning at the forefront of sector developments.

Our Games courses share a Common First Year. That will give you a thorough understanding of the game development process, before discovering what is possible with your specialism in later years. You’ll explore areas including conceptualisation, character and environment art, level design and prototyping with game engines. As a graduate, you’ll have in-demand skills in a truly global sector.
