Our computing course at Edinburgh Napier will help you gain a full understanding of computing tools, techniques and practices across a wide range of application areas.
Unlike computing courses elsewhere, at Edinburgh Napier you will be taught by world leading scientists in specialist facilities which contain high-speed computers with all essential software. Our course will teach you computer programming fundamentals that will propel you into employment after university.

The following entry points are available for this course:
GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths
Minimum grades MMM (Merit, Merit, Merit)
GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths
Pass Access to HE Diploma in a related subject with 45 credits overall with minimum 6 Credits at Distinction and 39 Credits at Merit.
Maths required at Level 2 or equivalent.
National 5 C in Maths

Minimum grades DD (Distinction, Distinction)
GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths
Award of Diploma with 27 points overall with three HL subjects at grades 6, 5, 4.
SL Maths grade 4
Grades H2, H3, H3, H3 at Higher Level.
Grade O4 at Ordinary Level in Maths
HNC with C in the graded unit in any subject
In addition have National 5 C in Maths
C or above on the core.
GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths also required.
Minimum Year 2 Entry Requirements
HNC - Pass in Computing, Computer Games Development, Software Development or Data Analytics with A in the graded unit.
HNC - Next Gen Computing - gain grade 'Achieved with Merit'
SQA Advanced Higher - BBC to include Higher Computing.
A Level - BBB to include Computing.
BTEC Extended Dip DDD in a related subject.
Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirements
HND - Pass in Software Development with Grade B at SCQF Level 8 in the graded unit.

National 5 grade C in Maths also required.
