About the course

BA (Hons) Games Art focuses on the creative and technical skills needed to produce visual content for games and interactive media. The course is designed for students who want to develop as artists within the games industry, combining creative practice with an understanding of professional production pipelines.

You will explore character design, environment art and visual storytelling while learning how games art is developed for different platforms and audiences. The course supports students aiming for careers in games, digital media and related creative industries.

You’ll build a solid foundation in games art, while gaining professional skills valued across games and interactive media industries, including digital illustration, 3D modelling, environment design, visual storytelling, creative problem solving and portfolio development.
