This course combines real estate surveying with valuation, planning and development. It studies how commercial property markets work and draws upon the economics of the real estate sector to gain knowledge of their operation and development. It also examines how urban planning regulates the development of property and value of real estate as investments.
During your studies you’ll learn about all aspects of property development, valuation and real estate management and develop a range of technical, communicative and interpersonal skills invaluable to your future career as a chartered surveyor.
The Honours course is fully accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and you will graduate with both an Honours degree and the means to achieve the highly regarded professional qualification of Chartered Surveyor once you enter the workplace.

Pass Access to HE Diploma in a related subject with 45 credits overall with minimum 33 Credits at Merit and 12 Credits at Pass.
DD (Distinction, Distinction)
Award of Diploma with 26 points overall with three Higher Level subjects at grades 6, 5, 4.
MMM (Merit, Merit, Merit)
Minimum Year 2 Entry Requirements
SQA Advanced Higher - BBC
In addition, National 5 grade C in Maths is required (Applications of Maths is accepted).
GCE A-level - BBB
In addition, GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths is required.
BTEC Extended Diploma - DDM (Distinction, Distinction, Merit) in a related subject. In addition, GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths is required.
HNC - Pass in a relevant subject with Grade B in the graded unit.
