This four-year MEng explores the core mathematics, physics, programming, and electronic and electrical engineering behind modern technologies — from smart cities to renewable energy. Building on our BEng, the additional, fully-integrated 4th year allows you to study advanced topics at Master’s level, preparing you for leadership roles or a future research career.

A* Mathematics required, Physics preferred. For applicants with Further Mathematics but not Physics, then Biology, Chemistry, Design and Technology or Electronics are preferred as the third subject.

A score of 19 points in three higher level subjects including grade 7 in Mathematics and preferably Physics, with no score lower than 5. The programme will accept either 'Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches' or 'Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation' at higher level. 'Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches' is preferred.
