Course summary

Ready to drive meaningful change in the housing sector? Our Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Housing Leadership is designed to help you become a strategically minded and ethically-aware leader who can influence healthier lives through better housing.

From affordability and security to the social and symbolic sense of safety a home provides, housing is a key determinant of health and wellbeing outcomes. Yet these experiences are not equal. Housing and health inequalities continue to deepen, influenced by economic, cultural, political and global forces.

This course equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to solve these real-world challenges. Drawing on international theory, research and practice, you’ll critically appraise the relationship between housing and health and the key factors that influence it, such as decarbonisation, community cohesion, transport, employment and sustainability.

This flexible, 100% online course can be studied full-time or part-time over 12 or 24 months. We welcome applications from both new and experienced housing practitioners, and consider professional experience alongside academic qualifications for admission.
