Our BSc Marketing is an innovative course that will provide you with cutting-edge knowledge of contemporary marketing theory and practice, a strong grounding in established and emerging theories of marketing, and a firm grasp of specialist areas. You will gain knowledge of general business principles, as well as core skills in fundamental business management.

What you will learn

The course introduces you to key areas in the study of business. You can then choose modules in marketing and from a wide range of option modules.

You undertake a business project module towards the end of the course, which requires you to develop a business plan for a new business venture or introduce a new innovation, product, service or process in an established organisation.

How you will learn

We offer a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars involving case studies, presentations and group discussions. You will gain an understanding of the key concepts in business management and marketing and be encouraged to explore the application of these concepts in practice. Our students gain real-world insights through live case study sessions and panels with entrepreneurs and practitioners.

You can study this course full- or part-time. You can also choose your own timetable for the core/compulsory modules selecting whether to study them in the daytime or in the evening.

Foundation Year

If you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree.
