Course summary

The Sports Studies with Psychology degree programme provides a solid foundation in the subject areas of Sport and Psychology, proving an attractively balanced and stimulating programme of study. At level 4, students study 60 credits of Sports Studies modules, and 60 credits of Psychology modules. At levels 5 and 6 students study 90 credits of Sports Studies modules, and 30 credits of Psychology modules from a range of options to tailor the programme to the student's interests. The dominant programme themes are Physical Activity and Sports Development, Sports Business Management and Social, Cognitive and Developmental Psychology, bringing together two diverse areas in one programme and supporting progression into future career pathways.
