  • Our MSci provides an opportunity to work on a project focused on a specialised areas of environmental practice or academic research

  • Take a hands-on approach to the collection and analysis of environmental data in the field and laboratory

  • You will develop a wide range of practical skills to increase your employability, from working with satellite data and using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to guide real-world environmental decision making

Grade B in one of the following Science subjects required: Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Design and Technology, Economics, Electronics, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geography, Geology, Life and Health Sciences (Double Award only), Marine Science, Maths/Pure Maths/Further Maths, Nutrition and Food Science, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Science (applied), Sport Science, Statistics.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - DDD - DDM

Applicants studying one of the following subject areas in either the BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma or Extended Certificate will be considered without GCE AL Science: Applied Human Biology, Applied Psychology, Applied Human Biology Applicants studying one of the following BTEC Extended Diplomas will be considered without GCE AL requirements: Applied Science, Countryside Management, Environmental Sustainability

Access to HE Diploma - D: 24 credits M: 21 credits

Pass the Access to HE Diploma with 24 L3 credits at Distinction grade and 21 L3 credits at Merit grade. To include 12 L3 credits at Merit grade in one of the following subject areas: Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Design and Technology, Electronics, Environmental Studies, Geography, Geology, Life and Health Sciences (Double Award only), Marine Science, Maths/Pure Maths/Further Maths, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Science (applied), Sport Science, Statistics. International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 34 - 32 points

Applicants will be considered with IB 32-34 OR 665 or 655 in three Higher Level subjects. All applicants will be required to have HL Grade 5 in one of the following subjects: Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Design and Technology, Electronics, Environmental Studies, Geography, Geology, Life and Health Sciences (Double Award only), Marine Science, Maths/Pure Maths (Analysis and Approaches OR Applications and Interpretations)/Further Maths, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Science (applied), Sport Science, Statistics.

English language requirements

GCSE English Language with a minimum pass of Grade C or 4.
