Become a confident legal practitioner with our LLM Law (Conversion) course.

Build systematic legal knowledge with our hands-on LLM Law (Conversion) course. You’ll solve complex legal issues while covering topics like:

  • contract law

  • equity and trusts

  • public and EU law

  • criminal law

  • land law.

This Law (Conversion) LLM degree is a fast-track one year law qualification for non-law graduates who either:

  • want to become a solicitor or barrister

  • work within the justice, social, or consumer sectors and want to expand their knowledge.

Enhance practical skills

Our Law (Conversion) LLM is focused on practice. You will:

  • engage with current legal issues

  • solve real-world problem through mooting, interviewing, and simulated case studies

  • take part in employability sessions including psychometric testing, interview skills, and a CV clinic

  • participate in organised programmes on commercial awareness

  • attend organised visits to local civil and Crown Courts and the Royal Courts of Justice

  • complete an extended project on a practical area of law.
