Skills
Studying for our LLB (Hons) Law with Politics degree will give you a wide range of transferable skills, setting you up for success in any profession. You’ll learn how to construct a winning argument, reason critically, think on your feet and write with precision and clarity.
Politics is a central element of human society, where our most pressing issues and concerns are addressed. Through political processes, institutions and ideas, complex, diverse modern cultures identify, share and contest values and make decisions about rules to live by and about how goods will be distributed nationally and internationally.
Alongside your legal training, you’ll gain a sound grounding in the academic tradition of politics.
Career opportunities
Secure a sustainable legal career in a rapidly changing world. Our LLB (Hons) Law with Politics course will prepare you for a range of legal and ‘practical’ careers, such as:
• Solicitor (you’ll also need to take the SQE and gain qualifying work experience)
• Barrister (you’ll need to sit the Bar Training Course)
• Paralegal
• Politics
You’ll also have opportunities to work with our partners across London and beyond, and to attend a Roehampton jobs fair where you can find out about graduate opportunities and meet employers.
