Our Project Management MSc gives you robust training in project management fundamentals, models, tools, and techniques, while integrating key elements of data analytics and big data systems. You will develop the technical and professional capabilities needed to become a well rounded and future focused project manager.
Designed to bridge theory and practice, the programme equips you with the skills and experience employers value most. Developed in collaboration with industry partners and business specialists, it emphasises real world application through practical projects, professional engagement, and hands on learning. You will work with practitioners, participate in industry led workshops, and take on live project challenges, with opportunities to pursue additional sector recognised qualifications.
Industry collaboration is central to this programme. We are establishing strong links with the manufacturing, engineering, aerospace and construction sectors, creating opportunities for experts to contribute to teaching and guest lectures. This gives you valuable insight into current industry practice and emerging challenges.
You will also benefit from networking events, site visits, and project based learning delivered directly by industry partners. Working as part of a project team, you will interact with organisations, build professional relationships, and explore potential career pathways.
By the time you complete the programme, you will have mastered the full project lifecycle, from initiation, planning and budgeting, to risk management, time management, execution, monitoring and evaluation, ensuring you graduate ready to lead projects confidently and effectively in a range of professional environments.
As an MSc Project Management student, you will study in our School of Management building on the beautiful Bay Campus. You will have access to a wide network of industry and business experts who contribute to the programme through masterclasses, guest lectures, and industry visits, giving you valuable industry focused insights and experience.
