We’ll help you build a solid understanding of core engineering principles. At the same time, you’ll immerse yourself into the detail of power delivery mechanisms, computer-aided engineering, applied industrial engineering and electrical machinery.
Together, we’ll push boundaries by exploiting advances in antennas and radio wave propagation, computing technologies and power electronics. Our dedicated teaching staff will support you every step of the way.
Through lectures, seminars, and practical exercises, you’ll debate and discuss big questions. You’ll also share ideas and find solutions. Out in society, your technical skills are greatly needed. You’ll bring your expertise to bear on a wide range of problems. You’ll graduate with the ability to manage, design, and develop systems in a huge range of industries around the globe.

You will be assessed through a combination of practical exercises, reports, essays, presentations and examinations. We want you to develop the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, therefore assessment includes both of these forms, though the emphasis is strongly on individual work.

If you have a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent), there is no maximum number of qualifications that we will accept UCAS points from. This includes additional qualifications such as Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), AS Levels that haven’t been continued to A Level, and General Studies AS or A Level awards.
