Course Information
Take centre stage and prepare for a professional career in music with our BA (Hons) Music Performance degree. This industry-led course is designed to develop your musicianship, stage presence, and entrepreneurial skills, giving you the tools to succeed as a performer, session musician, composer, or music educator.

Live performance is at the heart of the programme. You’ll take part in regular gigs on campus and at external venues, collaborate with students across creative disciplines, and work on professional recording sessions. Alongside practical experience, you’ll gain insights into the music business, career planning, and enterprise skills, ensuring you graduate with both artistic and professional confidence.
Taught by experienced industry professionals, the course provides access to state-of-the-art recording studios and a professional-standard theatre, mirroring real-world industry environments. By the end of your degree, you’ll have built a substantial recorded portfolio and a strong network of industry contacts.
