Gain the skills to become a future-ready accounting and finance professional. This innovative degree combines traditional financial expertise with the digital technologies transforming today’s business world. You’ll learn to use industry-standard tools such as Sage and Python to manage accounts, analyse data, and support strategic financial decisions in a digital economy.

Across three years, you’ll study financial and management accounting, taxation, audit and assurance, financial reporting, and financial management—alongside modules in computerised accounting, payroll systems, and big data analytics. You’ll develop coding and analytical skills to solve real-world accounting and finance problems using modern digital systems.

Teaching is hands-on and career-focused, combining lectures, workshops, simulations, and collaborative projects. You’ll graduate with the technical and professional competencies employers demand—able to integrate financial knowledge with technology, adapt to new software, and make data-driven business decisions.

Study in London’s financial centre at the University of Sunderland in London (near Canary Wharf) and prepare for a career in accounting, finance, auditing, or data-driven financial analysis.
