Course summary

This 100% online MSc Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing online conversion degree is built for people who want to specialise in the psychology of mental health – whether you're aiming to become a Chartered Psychologist or apply psychological insight in mental health, education or support-focused roles

You’ll study a curriculum aligned to the British Psychological Society’s (BPS) requirements – covering cognitive, biological, developmental and social psychology, alongside ethics, personality theory and research methods. From there, you’ll go deeper into mental health, behaviour change and psychological wellbeing, before completing an independent research project based on your own interests.

Delivered entirely online, at Walbrook, you can study full-time or part-time and balance your learning around work, home and life. You choose when to study, how to study, and where to study, with a clear structure and backing to help you stay on track.

This programme is currently pending accreditation by the BPS. If approved, it will provide the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) – the essential first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist in the UK.
