Underpinned by the latest development in women’s health, midwifery and maternity care, this exciting new programme will be of interest to qualified midwives and other relevant healthcare professionals. This programme will challenge midwives to critically examine how they can work to optimise the childbirth experience of all women and their families with a particular focus on contraception and associated health issues.
Graduates of this programme will have the ability to not only reflect on professional practice to enhance self-awareness and professional development but also the skills and knowledge base to critically analyse and evaluate maternity care provision in order to identify areas for development.
