Our Foundation Year provides an excellent alternative route to Keele, providing a unique opportunity to better prepare for your chosen degree, and with guaranteed entry onto your undergraduate course once you successfully complete your Foundation Year. This extra year of study can improve your academic skills, expand your subject knowledge, give you a better understanding of higher education and, perhaps most importantly of all, build your confidence. On the Keele Foundation Year, you'll study on campus, joining our undergraduate community from the outset, with access to all the facilities and support that you'd get as an undergraduate student at Keele.

Environmental Science and Geography with Integrated Master's

Our Environmental Science and Geography MSci brings together two complementary and highly relevant disciplines, preparing you to tackle pressing global environmental challenges. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the Earth’s physical processes and the complex interactions between the environment and human activity, with a focus on climate change, environmental impact assessment, water resource management, ecotoxicology, and landscape evolution.
Employability is embedded throughout the curriculum, with a strong emphasis on practical skill development through fieldwork, laboratory work, collaborative projects and applied problem-solving. You will gain hands-on experience using specialist equipment, environmental samples and digital tools in modern laboratories, alongside developing a wide range of field techniques through residential and day field courses in diverse environments.
