Psychology shapes every aspect of our lives, from its influence on how we interact with the world, our health and relationships, to real-world impact in society including education, work, and justice. Learning Style

Our aim is to shape confident learners by enabling you to develop skills for your studies, further education, or the employment market. You are taught primarily through lectures and seminars, allowing group discussions. You are encouraged to access academic support from staff within the course team and university services.

Facilities

The Department houses several laboratories supporting cutting-edge research in social, developmental, cognitive, and biological psychology, with significant recent investment. All academic staff are active researchers, and by your third year, you can undertake your own research project, contributing to the vibrant research culture.
